Important Dates on the Academic Calendar for the Years 2022–2023 at Ole Miss

 The University of Mississippi, a public research university with its main campus in Oxford, Mississippi, is known as Ole Miss. The oldest public university in the state, it was established in 1848. The school's athletic teams play in Division I of the NCAA as Southeastern Conference members, and the school's mascot is a bear called Rebel Black Bear (SEC).

The Ole Miss academic calendar for 2022–2023 includes each semester's class schedules, important dates, and deadlines. The University of Mississippi uses a three-semester schedule, including fall, spring, and summer semesters.

Move-in appointment times will be utilized, and appointments will be available in all buildings for both days of Groovin’ at Move-in. 8. Excess financial aid is distributed to students via direct deposit or mail on Wednesday, August 17, 2022.
9. Sunday, August 21, 2022 is the last day to officially cancel a registration and avoid responsibility for payment of tuition and fees.
10. Ole Miss fall 2022 classes start on Monday, August 22, 2022. Fall Classes begin.
11. Fall 2022 registration fee ($100) is assessed on Monday, August 22, 2022. 100% refund (less 5% of fees or $100, whichever is less) on withdrawals through September 2. Phase 3 registration.
12. Students may add courses on a space available basis through Friday, August 26, 2022.
13. Friday, August 26, 2022 is the deadline for course withdrawals – Law classes only (between August 27 and September 2 may drop only with the instructor’s approval).
