AGREE YOU? It's too soon for Manchester United to discuss winning the Premier League.
Jamie Redknapp, a former England midfielder, has suggested that winning the Premier League championship would be too much for Manchester United.
Following Wednesday night's 1-1 draw between United and Crystal Palace, Redknapp gave an interview to Sky Sports.
Despite their clear improvement under Erik ten Hag, the outcome, in his opinion, may have put a stop to their chances of launching a title campaign.
"Before the game, I didn't really think Man Utd was in the title race.
"I still believe they have a lot of work to do, but the progress they have already achieved is incredible.
The season's title, however, goes a little too far. From the bad start they had, they had too much to do, Redknapp observed.
United has played one more game than Arsenal and is presently eight points behind them.
This Sunday, both parties will meet at the Emirates.
