West Ham Coach, David Moyes Wants Top 4 Finish After Beating Liverpool Today
West Ham lead trainer David Moyes is focusing on a spot in the best four, yet denied his side are Premier League title challengers, after Sunday’s exhilarating 3-2 success over Liverpool.
The Hammers gave Liverpool their initial loss of the period through an Alisson own objective and objectives from Pablo Fornals and Kurt Zouma.
The success took West Ham above Liverpool in the table into third spot, only three focuses back of the lead position Chelsea.
After the game, Moyes was asked by the BBC if his group could challenge for the title, to which he answered: “I need to be truly certain constantly, I might want to say that is the thing that we can do. I don’t see that right now.
“We can challenge the best four however whoever they are I need to check whether we can offer us a chance, we passed up Champions League football by two [last season] so for what reason can we not be there?
“We are not getting out of hand however this is feeling acceptable right now.”
The BBC offered a similar conversation starter to Fornals, who said: “I don’t have the foggiest idea. It is too soon to say. However, battling for each game as we did today, why not still [be] dreaming?”
Addressing Sky Sports, Moyes added: “I think I am a similar supervisor [as at Everton] yet have needed to work out myself how to improve.
“We as a whole need to attempt to continue to improve. I trust and accept my best time is still to come and right now I have great players who play with staggering person.”
