TERAID IN PARTNERSHIP WITH DAR CITY COUNCIL, STAKEHOLDERS CLEAN TOILETS TO CELEBRATE WORLD TOILET DAY

IN an celebration of World Toilet Day which takes place every November 19th around the world, WaterAid Tanzania has teamed up with other institutions to celebrate this day at Chanika Maternity and Child Hospital by cleaning toilets and providing sanitary facilities while the celebrations are carried by the statement the slogan "Respect Your Toilet" i.e. 'Valuing Toilets.'

In celebration of the occasion, WaterAid donated hygiene kits to Chanika Maternal and Child Hospital and Buguruni Health Center. It has also donated hygiene kits to the Wisdom For Us group through their “Clean Toilet, My Dignity” campaign.

According to the official statement on the occasion, Wateraid Resident Director Anna Tenga Mzinga commended the Government for its efforts in ensuring that the community has clean and safe toilets.
