Michael Carrick Sends Message To Incoming Man United New Manager Ralf Rangnick

Manchester United caretaker manager, Michael Carrick, has sent a message to the club’s incoming manager, Ralf Rangnick, ahead of his side’s Premier League clash with Chelsea on Sunday.

Carrick said Rangnick would be inheriting a talented group of players to work with when asked about the German’s impending appointment as interim boss at Manchester United.

The 40-year-old, who has been placed in caretaker charge of the Old Trafford club since the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last week, will be in charge for Man United’s clash with Chelsea this weekend before handing over the reins to Rangnick.

Speaking during his pre-match press conference on Friday, Carrick was asked about the situation regarding Rangnick, but the former England international gave little away.

He said,

“From my point of view, not a lot, speculation and reports are just that.

“My head is just on the game.

“I think you can get ideas across quickly. Sometimes it is just a different voice, history proves that.

“There’s a lot of different styles and there’s a good group of players here.

‘Whoever comes in and whatever is implemented, I’m sure they can adapt, there’s some real good talent within the squad, sure they will look forward to what’s ahead.”

Meanwhile, Man United presently sits in the eighth position on the Premier League table with 17 points from 12 games.
